Guide to the Jose Cuervo Pro-Am 2018

Posted by Judy McDermott on

Experience golf like never before with the Jose Cuervo Pro-Am, Wednesday, February 28 and Thursday, March 1, at the Omni Tucson National Resort. Whether you watch or play, the Jose Cuervo Pro-Am is sure to get you prepped for the excitement of the Cologuard Classic taking place the same week, March 2-4.

2018 Adds Celebrities to the Mix

This year’s Jose Cuervo Pro-Am will see football quarterback Aaron Rodgers join the friendly competition. The NFL MVP and Super Bowl champion will play alongside Jerry Kelly, a PGA TOUR Champion and close friend of Rodgers. This means spectators and amateur players have the chance to rub elbows with not only golf greats, but an NFL superstar too.

Plus, newly elected Baseball Hall of Famer Trevor Hoffman, University of Arizona Head Football Coach Kevin Sumlin, and former Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien will join Rodgers in the Cologuard Classic’s Jose Cuervo Pro-Am.

Tee times begin each day at 8 a.m. and Rodgers is expected to participate in the first group of the afternoon wave on February 28.

Come see these legends as they make their way through the course!

Pro Treatment for Any Skill Level

During the two-day Jose Cuervo Pro-Am, amateur players will be paired with PGA TOUR Hall-of-famers, Champions Tour favorites, and some of the game’s greatest players for an unforgettable experience set in an engaging atmosphere. Amateurs playing inside the ropes will get the full pro treatment as they work their way through the 18-hole Catalina Course with their very own caddie.

Playing positions also include breakfast and lunch with a guest in the Conquistador Club where the pros will be dining, a valet parking pass for the day and preferred parking for the week, a personalized caddie bib, an autographed team photo, Jose Cuervo gift package shopping spree, two invitations to the Jose Cuervo Pro-Am Pairings Party ahead of the event on February 27, two invitations to the Jose Cuervo Pro-Am Awards Reception wrapping up the event on March 1, and 10 daily ground tickets good for any day. Additionally, Pro-Am players will have Conquistador Club credentials for two during the Cologuard Classic.

Tickets

A limited number of amateur spots are still available for individuals, foursomes, and two-team groups. Those interested in playing the Jose Cuervo Pro-Am should contact the tournament office at (800) 882-7660.

Spectator tickets are $20 and include free parking at the Foothills Mall with shuttle transportation to and from the Omni.

Just like the Cologuard Classic, proceeds from the Jose Cuervo Pro-Am benefit youth athletic programs throughout Southern Arizona.
