Festivities will kick off around 5:30 p.m. after the last putt. Scott Collier and the Midnight Special Band will lead the party with live music for dancing, and drinks will be available from the cash bar.

Hole-in-One Challenge

New to the Cologuard Classic this year is the Hole-in-One Challenge taking place during the second round of play on Saturday, March 3. In honor of the tournament’s new sponsor, Cologuard from Exact Sciences which is a non-invasive screening test for colorectal cancer, and National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, $50,000 will be donated to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation and $50,000 to The First Tee of Tucson if one of the pros makes a hole in one on the 16th hole. Age 50 is the commonly recommended time to begin cancer screening.

Attendees and players are also encouraged to wear blue that day to help raise awareness for colon cancer. The first 10,000 fans on Saturday will receive a free colon cancer awareness pin.

5k Fun Run/Walk

There’s still time to sign up for the Conquistadores Classic 5k Fun Run and Walk on the morning of the final round, Sunday, March 4. Like all of the Cologuard Classic events, proceeds will support youth athletic programs throughout Southern Arizona. Race entry includes breakfast, snacks, beverages, and a race shirt. After starting your day with a 5k, stay for the culmination of the Cologuard Classic and watch the pros compete for the top title! Admission for Sunday is included with your race ticket.
