The Birdies for Charity program enables qualifying charities in the Tucson area to use the Cologuard Classic Golf Tournament for additional fundraising.
The program is simply a giving platform that utilizes the excitement around the Cologuard Classic to help nonprofits across the region raise awareness and funds to support their missions.
Thanks to Inde Motorsports Ranch sponsorship, each organization that raises money through Birdies for Charity will receive a DOLLAR-FOR-DOLLAR MATCH on top of every donation collected.
There is a $2,000 maximum dollar-for-dollar match per participating charity and a $15,000 cap for the entire program.
Additionally, the Top 10 charities that raise the most donations will receive a cash bonus thanks to My Arizona Family Trust’s donation of $10,000.
The Cologuard Classic sends 100% of collected donations to participating charities.
DONATION: Participating charities can generate contributions through flat donations or based on the number of “birdies” made by PGA TOUR Champions players during the Tournament week, which is includes the Pro-Am tournament days.
Donors can fill out a pledge form on our website. Their donation will be calculated using the number of birdies scored during the 2023 Cologuard Classic.
ONE-TIME FIXED DONATION
Donors can make a one-time donation directly to your charity by scrolling through the list of participating charities and selecting the one they would like to give to. Donors can type any amount they would like.
BIRDIE WATCH: Adding an element of competition to the program, donors will also submit their “guess” for the number of birdies made during the tournament. The closest will win an Honorary Observer Package to the tournament for the following year. All donors will have the opportunity to compete in the “Birdie Watch” by guessing the number of “Birdies” recorded during Pro-Am and Competition Rounds. Birdie guesses for the Grand Prize are due by midnight (MST) on Sunday, February 26, 2023.
