HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS AT COLOGUARD CLASSIC
The Tucson Conquistadores, First Tee Tucson and PGA TOUR Champions are excited to bring the 2021 Cologuard Classic to reality. The team has developed a plan that places a priority on health and safety for the upcoming event, February 22-28, 2021. We are following all recommended CDC guidelines in an effort to mitigate the risk of transmitting covid-19 and partnering with local Pima County officials and the Omni Tucson National Resort to ensure we are prepared to host a tournament in a safe manner. Understanding local Arizona state recommendations and effective best practices are key to executing a successful tournament during these unsettling times. Modifications from our typical execution will be required to keep all participant types safe and healthy.
As a reminder, please practice the following:
WEAR FACE COVERINGS Clients/ spectators will be required to wear a face mask or covering if Pima County protocols require face coverings at the time of the event.
MAINTAIN GOOD HYGIENE Stationary hand sanitizer units will be placed throughout the golf course at the entrances, restrooms, and concession locations to encourage frequent hand washing. Attending individuals will be permitted/encouraged to bring their own small bottle of hand sanitizer.
SOCIAL DISTANCING Maintain distancing as well as limited capacity throughout property
