We are pleased to offer several experiences to those impacted by colorectal cancer throughout tournament week at the 2023 Cologuard Classic. If you are a colorectal cancer patient, survivor, or caregiver, you are welcome to sign up for any of the following opportunities at no cost.

Get Your Rear in Gear 5K

The Colon Cancer Coalition hosts its annual Get Your Rear in Gear 5K to kick off tournament week on Sunday, February 23. Participants will have the opportunity to run through the beautiful grounds of Omni Tucson National Resort. Money raised at this event will help increase colorectal cancer screening and early detection of the disease in Tucson.

NASDAQ Bell Ringing

For the third straight year, NASDAQ is ringing the opening bell live from the Cologuard Classic. Telecast live around the world on CNBC, Fox Business, and Bloomberg, NASDAQ’s opening bell will help raise awareness of colorectal cancer and the importance of getting screened. Join Fight Colorectal Cancer President Anjee Davis and fellow survivors and caregivers on Wednesday, February 26 at 7:30 am near the 16th hole for this unique experience. General Admission Tickets

During tournament play, Friday, February 28 through Sunday, March 1, we are pleased to offer up to two general admission tickets per day to colorectal cancer survivors and caregivers. Note that a Saturday ticket also includes admission to the Military Appreciation Concert that evening, featuring Lee Brice. Sunday 18th Hole Walk

Join fellow colorectal cancer survivors and caregivers, along with members of the First Tee of Tucson, on Sunday, March 1, for a walk up the 18th fairway during the final round of Sunday’s Cologuard Classic. In an experience unique to the Cologuard Classic, you will have the chance to follow the tournament’s final pairing on Sunday afternoon and stand alongside the 18th green for the trophy presentation. Representatives from the nation’s leading colorectal cancer advocacy groups, including the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, Fight Colorectal Cancer, and the Colon Cancer Coalition, will join together for a walk that highlights the tournament’s mission – to raise awareness of colorectal cancer and The First Tee of Tucson’s mission to introduce the game of golf and its inherent values to young people.  Registration is required for this experience.
