The 2019 Cologuard Classic will once again take place earlier than the event’s traditional date to align with the beginning of March as national Colon Cancer Awareness Month. The event will further colon cancer awareness through various on-site activities with fans, volunteers, and players, as the tournament looks to cement a community footprint outside the ropes. Please be sure to add tournament dates to your calendar: tournament week is February 25 – March 3, 2019.
We hope you will join us again next year for the 2019 Cologuard Classic, which will be hosted February 25 – March 3, 2019.
As of August 10th, we have 75 volunteers signed up. Our goal is 635, so we can use your help to recruit more volunteers! If you have any resources or networks of people who might be interested in serving as a volunteer, we are requesting that you please send out a volunteer request on our behalf.
We were excited to recognize Mary Lou Hawkins as the 2018 volunteer of the year, and to do so on the 18th green in front of a full gallery and tournament winner Steve Stricker. Thank you, Mary Lou, for your exceptional service in support of the Cologuard Classic golf tournament. Who will be our 2019 volunteer of the year?

Thanks to you, the Tucson Conquistadores continue to add to the over $35 million in charitable contributions we have contributed over the past 56 years to youth organizations in Southern Arizona and Tucson by providing life-enhancing opportunities to local youth through amateur athletics.
The money we are fortunate to raise, and, in turn donate back to our community, is our greatest source of pride. Thank you for being a very important part of that effort. We hope you also take pride in your contribution, and ask that you share your support of the tournament and our organization through social media. If you haven’t already done so, please like us on Facebook and help spread the word about the tournament we proudly host together.
Thank you again for your dedication to the Cologuard Classic. If you have any general questions, or even a suggestion that can help us improve the tournament, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to another successful tournament with your continued help!
Sincerely and on behalf of the Tucson Conquistadores,
The PGA Tour, our title sponsor Cologuard, and the professional golfers were extremely pleased and complimentary of our 2018 tournament. One of the tour professionals, Hale Irwin, taking time to send us an email and complementing our volunteers, speaks to your value and significant contribution. Again, thank you!
Thank you for your assistance last week before and during the Cologuard Classic. While my play was certainly unspectacular the tournament was exciting until the very end. Please pass on my thanks and best wishes to the tournament staff, the Conquistadores, and the volunteers. Hope to see you again in the future!
