Volunteer Recruitment

FEBRUARY 21 - 28, 2021
Omni Tucson National Resort Tucson, Arizona

Dear Volunteer,

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Cologuard Classic, a PGA TOUR Champions event.  We welcome back our past volunteers with sincere appreciation. We cannot do it without you.

The Cologuard Classic will take place two weeks earlier than the event’s traditional date to align with the beginning of March as national Colon Cancer Awareness Month. The event will further colon cancer awareness through various on-site activities with fans, volunteers, and players, as the tournament looks to cement a community footprint outside the ropes. Please be sure to mark your calendar: tournament week is February 21 – February 28, 2021.

To new potential volunteers, we hope you sign up today to experience the tournament up close and personal. Please look around this site for more information on volunteering for the tournament and feel free to call us at (520) 571-0400 with any questions.

Your tireless commitment and dedication to our mission is important to our success. Did you know with your help, the Tucson Conquistadores contributed over $550,000 to local youth charities last fiscal year?  That brings the total charitable donations to Southern Arizona and Tucson to over $36,000,000 over the past 57 years!

Just a handful of the tournament’s beneficiaries include The First Tee of Tucson, Boys & Girls Clubs (Tucson, Sierra Vista, Bisbee, and Nogales), Special Olympics, YMCA of Southern Arizona, Sporting Chance Center at Curtis Park, and hundreds more.  We hope you will join us as we strive to raise even more for the local youth and special needs athletics in Southern Arizona.

Your commitment also sends a welcome message to the PGA TOUR's Champions, players, media and spectators who choose to call our community home for tournament week.  The first-class presentation of our event is a significant contributing factor to our continued partnership with the PGA TOUR.

Take a thorough look through this website as it has valuable and pertinent information.   Please note, all volunteers are required to purchase a volunteer package which helps offset a part of the actual volunteer expenses so the tournament can contribute more of the dollars raised to continue to help local charitable youth organizations.

The chairperson of your committee will contact you in early February to confirm which shifts and days you are available to work.

Thank you in advance for your time and effort, we look forward to working with you to ensure the success of the 2021 Cologuard Classic. We are confident that you will find this experience to be extremely rewarding. If you have any questions, please call Margaret at (520) 571-0400.

Sincerely,

Tucson Conquistadores Membership and Staff
